MEPC and MEX, what are they?

If you want to get started in the competitive Inazuma Eleven you will need to know how to perform these methods. We will explain them, starting with the following:

MEPC

MEPC: scar gang training method

Yes, the name is unfortunate, let's not kid ourselves, but it is the best training method in Inazuma Eleven 3 and is also used in Inazuma Eleven 2, but to a lesser extent.

In this method you will be able to max out up to 3 statistics. There are 2 ways to do it depending on the position of the player you are training: players you want to have maximum shot, or players you want to have it to a minimum (to the maximum control).

In this case we are going to train a player to use him as a forward; we will train Grengo in Inazuma Eleven 3, but the steps to follow are the same in Inazuma Eleven 2

The steps to follow are as follows:

  • 1??Sign Grengo (Hokkaido Vending Machine, Blue Token)
MEPC and MEX, what are they?
  • 2?? How are we going to train him? FRONT, ??you have to raise him right when you sign him (at the level you sign him at, in this case at level 10) 50 points the kick, 50 points the physical and 50 points the defense. In case you wanted to leave the shot at minimum you would have to raise it 50 points for control, 50 points for physicality and 50 points for defense.
  • 3?? After raising the stats by 50 points, level up to 99.
MEPC and MEX, what are they?
  • 4?? Once it reaches 99, Upload Shooting, Physical, Defense and Speed as much as possible (in physique-defense-value, leave the value stat as low as possible).
MEPC and MEX, what are they?
  • 5?? Now we need to look at Grengo's base stats at level 99, for example in the wiki to get the speed out
  • 6?? You have to subtract 50 less the control you have left minus 1: 50-(21-1)=30 (if you had done it for defense you would have to subtract 50 minus the shot you missed minus 1). The physicist always goes up 50 so there is nothing to subtract. You have to subtract 50 less the value minus 1: 50 -(11-1)=40; those will be the points to raise in defense. Finally for speed, you have to add 50 to the base speed at level 99 (that's what the wiki is for) and subtract it from the speed you have: 57+50-80=27.
  • 7?? Add up the spreads:
    • Shot= 30
    • Physical = 50
    • Defense = 40
    • Speed= 27
    • Total= 30+50+40+27=147 The maximum points you can level up a player is 150, so since there are 3 left, you can give it to another stat, I recommend value.
  • 8??The final spread would be like this:
    • Shot= 30
    • Physical = 50
    • Defense = 40
    • Speed= 27
    • Total= 30+50+40+27=147 (3 points to value)
  • 9?? Kick the player and apply the spread at the base level you signed him at. Then level him up to level 99 and adjust the stats.
MEPC and MEX, what are they?
This is how Grengo would look trained, with the corresponding kits

But… what would have happened if the sum was more than 150? What you would have to do is subtract points from another stat (I recommend speed) until it was at 150.

MEX

MEX: Extreme Training Method

This method is the most used of Inazuma Eleven 2. In Inazuma Eleven 3 It is used to train key players (that you can't throw away, those from history).

There are several videos that explain how to do this method, but I think that today it is not worth it, since the community has developed tools that facilitate this training, specifically the calculator which performs the calculations necessary to implement this method.

In this case, this calculator was made by Thund3r (former member of the dissolved Fuego Fugaz clan) and is very easy to use:

  • 1?? First of all, open Excel and you will see something like this:
MEPC and MEX, what are they?

Don't worry if you don't understand anything right now, because by the end of this post, you will understand it 😉

Before continuing with the second step, you might be thinking, What is a VOB? A VOB is the sum of stats: he VOB Shooting-Control is the sum of shooting and control of a player, the VOB Speed-Endurance is the sum of speed and endurance and the VOB Physical-Defense-Value is the sum of physical defense and value. With this image you will understand it better:

MEPC and MEX, what are they?

  • VOB Shot-Control: 22+21=43
  • VOB Speed-Endurance= 27+24=41
  • VOB Physical-Defense-Value= 22+22+21=65

Ok, now that we have explained what VOB is, let's continue explaining how the calculator works.

  • 2?? Para este ejemplo vamos a utilizar como base a Torch. Antes os habréis fijado que pone en un recuadro ”VALOR LVL 99”. Ahí hay que poner las stats base de Torch a nivel 99 (para ello consultamos la wiki, preferably the English one, since the Spanish one has errors in the stats of some players)
MEPC and MEX, what are they?

Once you have set the stats, you should have something like this. What matters to us is what is in the red box.

  • 3?? We already have the VOB, so we have to get the player to add up exactly those stats, but ??watch out!?? you have to make sure the player gets to those VOBS, without going over and without falling short. It is very likely that if we do the training at a very low level, we will not be able to reach that sum, so I recommend doing it between level 40 and 60. However, we can try seeing the level and if we fall short, use Cheat Engine to upload it quickly.

*Note: In my case, I'm going to train him as a forward (I want him to have the maximum shot and the minimum control), and the value is the stat of the physical-defense-value VOB that receives the least points. If we wanted the control to be at its maximum and the physical to be the stat of the physical-defense-value VOB that receives the least points, we would have to change the parameters, so that this is how it is:

MEPC and MEX, what are they?
MEPC and MEX, what are they?
MEPC and MEX, what are they?

As you can see, the VOB would be different.

  • 4?? In my case I have Torch at level 35, with these stats:
MEPC and MEX, what are they?
    • His VOB of shooting would be: 45+39=84 and I need to get there 120
    • His VOB of speed would be: 41+43=84 and I need to get to 117
    • His VOB of physical would be: 42+39+44=125. I'll tell you in advance that this VOB doesn't really matter to us since it's the last one we're doing and it only consists of raising the stats until it drops points in other stats.
  • 5?? So let's get to work! We train the VOBS following this order: shot-control, speed-endurance and physical-defense value (I have already said that in this last one it consists of raising the stats as much as possible)
MEPC and MEX, what are they?
VOB Shot Control

(Do the same for speed-endurance and physique-df-courage).

Once we get this message that a stat has been lowered by raising another (in the VOB Physique-Defense-Valor) we should stop training. Torch would be like this (in my case, at level 35).

MEPC and MEX, what are they?
  • 6?? Now all that's left is to level up to 99 and adjust stats?

Thanks for reading.
