Inazuma Eleven 2 Hidden Content: Secrets You Didn't Know

Today we are going to talk about hidden content in Inazuma Eleven 2, one of the most fascinating aspects of this game, considered by many to be the best in the series thanks to its story, characters and soundtrack. However, beyond all this, Inazuma Eleven 2 hides secrets and hidden details that only the most curious players have managed to discover.

In this article, we are going to see all the hidden content in Inazuma Eleven 2From unused stadiums to secret dialogues and mysterious locations, you'll be amazed at what the developers left in the game thinking no one would ever find!

Hidden Stages

In this section you can discover all the hidden content in Inazuma Eleven 2 regarding the playing fields and stadiums that are in the game data, but were ultimately never used.

Sue's Mother's Creperie

It's possible to play a match or a battle inside Sue's mother's creperieThe 3D model appears exactly as it appears in story mode, only with different angles due to the execution of super techniques and dribbling, shooting, etc. animations. In this image you can see that both take place in the same scenario (I have moved the camera away from the story mode so that it can be better appreciated):

As for the 2d textures of the football field, they don't exist. A pitch appears that is not modeled as it should be (this is also the one that appears in other stadiums/playing fields that were not used in the final version of the game). It also has no skybox (sky texture), so everything takes place in a dark environment, without any source of light, nor the sounds of the referee when a foul or offside is committed. In fact, this place is used for training that raises the stamina in Osaka, although it is curious that the 'beam' to be able to do it is outside the restaurant while the training shows the 3D model of the interior.

If you want to see all this in more detail, here is a video where everything mentioned above is shown from different angles, etc.

Northern Ridge (Hokkaido)

Here is two variants of it. The first one is similar to Osaka's. The terrain appears with the texture that is used by default when said terrain is not used in the final version of the game, in this case Yeah which has a skybox (probably because it is an outdoor landscape and not an interior) and the same thing happens with the collisions of the 3d models (there are none). In fact, this place is the one used to improve the speed in Hokkaido.

The second variant is much less interesting than this one, as it's just the terrain used to play soccer when you're in North Peak (Hokkaido). However, this version lacks the 2D texture of the soccer field.

Fukuoka

There is not much difference between this field and the final version of the game. The only thing worth mentioning is that 2D texture that keeps appearing in these versions, as well as the fact that the 3D models of the shop and the rival goal do not exist; instead we have a flat 2D texture simulating 3D buildings. There are also some incomplete 3D models such as a floating door and the decoration cars are of a different color. This football field is perfectly usable, since there are no major graphical bugs (except when we perform certain super techniques and the animation when we celebrate that we have scored a goal).

Cloister Divinity

As in other sites mentioned above, the 2d texture that appears on the playing field is the same. This is one of the places intended for training (in this case to improve the stamina) within the story mode, so it has a lot of graphical glitches.

Secret Warehouse (Shopping District)

This is another example of a football pitch that could be “usable” in-game, as it is mostly modeled, although some areas have graphical glitches and unmodeled parts that appear black. Despite the 2D texture issue on the pitch still remaining, the pitch closely resembles the final model and it would still be possible to play a match here without any major difficulties.

Debug Mode

He Debug Mode It is a game mode that is generally not accessible to players, in which They try and test the different mechanics of the game, and as it could not be missing, it also exists in Inazuma Eleven 2. In fact, I have a post about Debug Mode which explains all of this in more detail, but let's just summarize what you can do in this mode anyway.

To begin with, Inazuma Eleven 2 is the only game in which more than one debug mode has been found; specifically we can play three different versions.

  • In the first one Among them you can find things like: a default random team with players at level 42; a dog that allows the entire team to level 45; a Nara deer that allows us to play a match against the Wild Institute; an NPC that allows us to change our team shield and name (for when we play matches via wireless connection); and we can play vs Chaos (i.e., the game comes Secrandto done by default) among many other things. As I said, this is just a summary. If you want to know more in detail what this first Debug Mode includes, you can take a look at my post.
  • In it second mode You can find: a bird that allows us to play a bugged game; Celia that allows us to activate the light filter that we can also find in the 'Stadium Paths' in Inazuma Eleven 3; and an NPC that allows us to alternate between different OSTs in the game. among other thingsIt must be said that this mode has fewer features than the previous Debug Mode, but it is still interesting to see this kind of thing.
  • He third mode It is the most incomplete, since it only allows you to play against the Gemini Storm in Nara and we do not have access to the entire game map as in the previous ones. Debug Modes (in the latter we can only access Nara and Tokyo).

Hidden Items

In the European version of Inazuma Eleven 2 you can access hidden items by using cheats. Specifically, you can obtain the following items:

In fact, these items are from Inazuma Eleven 1, which makes sense since the European version of Inazuma Eleven 1 is based on the Inazuma Eleven 2 ROM. This means that you can find all the items and players from Inazuma Eleven 2 in the first game of the series.

However, in addition to this there are illustrations of objects that were never used. Here you can see these images, which have been taken from the IE2 Modding Guide written by Elroy. In addition, the IDs of said objects are included so that in case you want to modify the game data, you can access them:

Hidden Dialogues

Did you know that there are hidden dialogues in the game? Although they are not impressive at all, there are certain dialogues that only appear if we are in a certain position. For example, the shopkeepers will tell us'Welcome' if we go through the counter and talk to them. This is different from the normal message they give us, which includes the options to buy and sell items, techniques, equipment, etc.

hidden dialogs ie2

However, in some cases they tell us something more than a simple 'welcome':

  • In it Bazaar Ball from the Tokyo Shopping District, tells us that the shelves are a bit bare right now.
  • In it Mercazuma From the Tokyo Shopping District, we are told that Now they have rice balls and? you feel free to watch whatever you want.
  • In it Mercazuma from Okinawa, tells us that if Could you recommend an ice cream on a hot day like this?.

Hidden Places

In this section we are going to talk about hidden places that cannot be accessed legally or that are only accessible for a short period of time.

Nara (Beta?)

This seems to be a scenario of Nara, which has a quite different perspective. It is not in the right scale (compared to the characters and other scenery), it has no NPCs and it also has no collisions. It is likely that this scenery was used in one of the game's cinematics and that is why it is present in the game files; if not, it is most likely a beta for that scenario.

Anyway, here is a video where you can see this in more detail. Also, if you want to access this site you just have to use the cheat that is here.

Star Messengers Laboratory

This may not be one of the hidden places in the game, but it is only accessible for a short period of time. However, if we make use of cheats like the one here We will be able to access this place whenever we want and investigate everything that is hidden there. Also, as an extra, I leave you an image so that you can appreciate how the laboratory looks from a more distant view.

???

This is a place I currently don't remember. In fact, I can't say what place it is, as the minimap on the top screen of the game doesn't show anything; it's a black background. However, it's very likely related to the Alius Academy, so as soon as I find out what the name of this place is, I will update the post. Remember that if you want to access this site, you just have to use the cheat that is here.

Prime Minister's Room

This is a location that has little presence in the game and cannot be accessed legally, as it only appears in cinematics. It is the building where Tori's father (Victoria Vanguard) performs all his duties as Prime Minister. It also has no collisions or NPCs to interact with.

And you? Do you know more hidden content that is in Inazuma Eleven 2 and that we have not commented on? If you liked this post, you might be interested in more information about the Inazuma Eleven 2 Debug Mode Let me know in the comments and thanks for reading!
