How to Scout Harper Evans in Inazuma Eleven Victory Road
Welcome, Inazuma Fan! Today we are going to explain how to scout Harper Evans in cómo fichar a Harper Evans in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, one of the most sought-after players by the community.
We are not talking about just any player. Harper is one of the main protagonists and, to be honest, he is one of the most "broken" (OP) characters in the current meta. If you want to be the best, you need this striker in your starting eleven. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to get his different versions.
There are several ways to get him (Gacha, Spirit Market, or Farming), and here we explain each one.
Method 1: Player Universe (Gacha)
This is the most direct way to get the full version of the player, but it has an important prerequisite : you must have completed the Story Mode (beaten Raimon). Only then will you unlock his constellation.
Once this is done:
- Go to the player Universe menu.
- Enter the Victorious Constellation. If you can't find it, use the search bar and type "Harper Evans" to be taken directly to it.

Probabilities and Rarity
This is where luck comes into play to get one of the two available versions:
- Hero Rarity: You have a 0.5% chance of pulling him. It is very low, so be prepared to spend a lot of Bond Stars on multiple pulls.
- Common Rarity: If RNG is not on your side, you are much more likely to get his basic version. Although it has lower initial stats, it's good enough to start training him.

Note: Harper joins your team at Level 1, so you will have to level him up and manually unlock his special moves. Also, if you don't like his default moves, you can change them later.
Why is Harper Evans so "broken"? (Analysis)
You might be wondering if it's worth spending so many Bond Stars for that 0.5%. The short answer is YES. This version is a competitive beast, and here are the details on why he dominates the meta:
- Element and Archetype: He is an Earth striker of the Tension, archetype. This is key: his passives not only increase the team's tension but also consume it to shoot with absurd power.
- Fighting Spirit (Majin Victory): Pay attention to this, because his passive is unique. If you have a player of another element near you, you get a +20% boost in shoot attack. It's a free buff just for positioning yourself well.

Furthermore, his moveset is one of the best in the game for defeating any goalkeeper:
- Meteodd Fire Tornado +2 (Fire element, Power=648): This is the jewel in the crown. It is equivalent to having the move repeated 3 times, transforming those stacks into an immediate "+2 Grade". The damage output is massive.
- Inazuma Break (Wind element, Power=640)
- Bahamut Crash (Wood element, Power=440)

In short: if you get the hero version, your striker position is covered for a long time. If you want to see exactly why he is so broken in the current meta, I recommend watching this video by Puncho Deistar. Besides reviewing the scouting methods, he tests him in a real match where you can see his special goal animation. It's spectacular!
Method 2: Spirit Market (The "Breach" Version)
There is another variant of Harper Evans that you can get if you prefer not to rely on Gacha pulls. To do this, simply access the Spirit Market (within the Spirits section) and meet the following requirements.
Exchange Requirements:
- Have a Legendary Rarity Harper Evans at Level 60 or higher. (Note: The one you get from the Gacha works perfectly for this, you just have to level him up).
- Trade Orange Spirits of Mark Evans (Legendary).
- Trade Orange Spirits of Nelly (Legendary).

Unlike the Gacha Harper (Tension), this Market Harper belongs to the Breach archetype. His passives are oriented towards increasing our team's breach rate, which allows scoring goals with shots that are theoretically harmless and that the goalkeeper should stop without problems.

Method 3: Farming and Drops (Free)
If you haven't finished the story or prefer to save your resources, you can try to get his Spirit by playing, although it requires luck.
Multiplayer and Focus Battles
Play online matches. If the opponent has Harper and you win Focus Battles against him, there is a chance of a drop (although you will need quite a bit of luck for this to happen).

In the Hero Battle difficulty (the hardest one), certain teams like Royal Academy (in the first match of this mode; the friendly vs Raimon) offer an approximate 0.002% chance of dropping the spirit.

Competition Mode (Vs Raimon)
If you play against Victory Road's Raimon in free matches of the Competition Mode, you can also obtain Harper Evans. However, in this mode, there is also the restriction of having finished the story to face this team.
Note: The highest difficulty is recommended to obtain the highest rarity spirit.
