How do you activate cheats on an Emulator (PC or Mobile)?

This is usually the easiest method. Most Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS emulators (such as Citra or DeSmuME) include a dedicated “Cheats” menu. In general, you just need to copy the code from our guide and paste it into that menu, then enable it.

How do I activate cheats on a Nintendo 3DS Console (with CFW)?

This method is more advanced and requires a modified console (with Luma3DS, etc.). The process involves finding the Title ID, creating specific "plugin" folders, and using .plg- files. Since the exact instructions are very specific to each game, we recommend following the detailed tutorial found inside each 3DS article.

Is it safe to use Pokémon cheats?

In general, yes, but there's always a small risk of corrupting your save file. We strongly recommend saving your game before activating any cheat. This way, if something goes wrong, you can simply restart the game without saving , and your save file will load perfectly from the last saved point.
